I came across a youtube video showing how to make a Gatefold Shutter Card. It looked so fun I just had to try it. The video tutorial can be found . And the gal who made the video has a web site here.
It took me a while to figure out how to put it together but now that I've done it once it really is easy to do.
The reason it is called a shutter card is because once assembled the center inside the card opens like a camera shutter. Really fun.

This is a combo card. Stampin' Up! materials and stamps combined with Silhouette Cameo pieces. I actually took the measurements for all the pieces of the card and created a cut file for them and saved it in my Library so I can make more later. But, don't despair, if you don't have a Silhouette you can make your own the video gives you all the info.

This is the card front. The mats are from Parkwood DSP. The lattice (image #8863 by Jamie Koay) and stem ( unknown) are from the Silhouette library and cut out with the Silhouette Cameo.
The flowers and leaves are from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set by Stampin' Up!.
Here is where having the Cameo is soooo cool! I stamped the flower and stem in black onto white card stock, scanned them, brought them into the Silhouette and made cut files for them. Then I cut them out of white card stock and use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to stamp them. I love doing it this way. I don't have to fussy cut them out and I can cut them the exact size so I don't have a white border around them or I can make it a bit bigger so I do. My choice. In this case, no border.
Here's a tip. When stamping small pieces like this with the Stamp-a-ma-Jig I put a strip of removable adhesive on my work surface and stick the pieces to it. That way they don't move when you take the plastic away.

This is the inside of the card.
Stamp Sets by Stampin' Up!:
- Bordering Blooms - inside edges
- Epic Alphabet - Heart
- Groovy Love - sentiment
- Stippled Blossoms - flowers and leaves
Another Tip: When attaching the shutter pieces to your card I recommend using Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue. There is a lot of tension on those pieces when the card is opened and closed and Snail or Tombow will break loose at some point.
Hope you enjoy this card as much I do. I share my cut files with those who follow my blog. If you are already receiving my blog simply leave me a comment and I will send the Silhouette cut files for this card to you. If you're new to my blog follow me and send me your email and I will share the cut file with you too.
Enjoy!
