I cut out two of the red label flip card bases the other day so I needed to use up the second one. This one is Christmas card too but a little bit different.
On the outside is the bird from An Open Heart stamped, colored and cut out and the pine cones from a couple of pine cones from Ornamental Pine also cut out and adorned with a double bow tied with Bakers Twine.
Open the card for more ...
Inside is the sentiment from Beauty of the Season adorned with the branch from the same set colored with real red berries and old olive on the branches. I stamped it with Early Espresso. I also added the branch to the white strip on the right.
The branch in the middle is from the An Open Heart stamp set also.
The Bird and the large branch I stamped with Memento ink and colored using Blendabilities markers. I used the White Chalk pen to add some "frost" to the leaves.
I'm making a birthday card with the white Circle Flip Card base I cut out so tune in tomorrow to see that one.
Hope you like it. You can cut those pieces out by hand or if you have a Silhouette you can stamp the image, scan it, open it in the program and trace it to make cut outs you can then stamp using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig.
Psst! That's what I did with the pine cones, the large branch and the bird.
