The theme for this month at the Silhouette Challenge is Patriotic. This is just a sample of what I am making. You'll see an entirely different project when the hop goes live on June 9th so stay tuned for more.
I make cards every year for those family and friends who have served so faithfully in the military protecting and defending our liberties so this was an easy challenge for me. I've been thinking about what I could make for a while now.
Because I live in the United States of America the color scheme on my card will be Red, White and Blue and those three colors stand out really well against a kraft colored background.
Here the shapes from the Silhouette store that I used to make this card:
- Bow 3010 Loni Harris
- Star 2322 Silhouette
- Star Spangled Banner 3169 Samantha Walker
These are the other items used:
- Kraft print and cut adhesive backed card stock - Silhouette
- Real Red, Night of Navy, Whisper White card stock - Stampin' Up!
- White Chalk pen - Stampin' Up!
- Dazzling Details Silver glitter glue - Stampin' Up!
- Blue sparkle sketch pen - Silhouette
This won't be the only patriotic project you'll see on my blog. There will be more to come. Stay tuned and leave me a comment, I love to hear from you all. You are why I blog so let me know what you like to see.
Thanks and Enjoy!
