My grandsons ages 3 and 4&1/2 came to visit for a few days last week and I always try to come up with something fun to do with them when they are here. It occured to me they might like flying kites so we grabbed up a couple of kites and headed for the park. There was a perfect wind blowing and it was fun to get the kites up and see them flying up high in the sky.
That was my inspiration for the card I made for the Faux Stitching Feature challenge.
Silhouette Shapes Used:
- Kite #16758 Echo Park
- 9 Clouds #43148 Patty Young Designs
The Sunburst I made my own design because I couldn't find one exactly like I wanted.
Materials Used - all from Stampin' Up!
- Soft Sky, Whisper White card stock
- Sponge Dauber
- Pacific Point ink pad
- Stampin' Dimensionals
- Zig Squeeze 2 way glue pen
I did a little sponge daubing onto the card front and on the clouds so the front of the card didn't look so plain.
I like it and I hope you do too. Leave me a comment to let me know what you think.
Enjoy,
