I found a picture of this on Pinterest and decided I just had to make it. I didn't have enought glitter paper of the same color to glue back to back so that both sides would be glittery so I ended up making mine two tone.
Here is where you can find the tutorial from The tutorial is well done and makes creating this beautiful piece very easy. I'v had mine for three years now. It is very sturdy and still looks as nice as when it was originally made. It is so beautiful I just had to share it again.
Here is what I used to make this:
- Stampin' Up! Glimmer card stock Silver and Red
- Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue to glue the two pieces of Glimmer paper back to back
- Hot Glue Gun - to assemble
TIP: cutting these strips of glitter card stock will wreak havoc on your cutting blade. Be prepared to replace it when your done. I actually put mine in a little baggie and marked it and saved it for the next round of difficult stuff to cut. And I didn't do it in my Silhouette because glitter comes off and I didn't want to muck up my machine so I did the cutting on a table top cutter.
Enjoy!
