I'm honored to be able to be a part of the Silhouette Gift Basket Give Away hosted by Melissa of Silhouette School. It's fun to get found by new people to gain new followers and to give something away too!
To celebrate the give away I thought it was only appropriate to share something I've made using my Silhouette. My grandson's birthday is this month and I had the luxury of hosting his family and friends party in my home so I was able to do the decorating.
He wanted a baseball theme. Maybe because his dad has taken him to a couple of Mariner's games. BWG I made a list of what I wanted to create.
- Baseball cards with his pic and info
- Banner
- Centerpiece
- Snack holders
First up is the baseball card. His dad had taken him to a game recently and sent me a pic of him with a cap on so I was able to bring in some elements for the hat and jacket and add his name, age and birthdate. (they're blacked out here just cause BWG)
Don't ya just love that smile!
These will go on the drinking cups and some extras lain around for friends to take if they want to. I also blew one up and made a letter size poster to put on the refreshment table.
I also made the centerpiece which was kind of fun. Saw a pic of something similar on Amazon and used the idea to make my own.
And a banner to hang too.
I must confess I bought the plates and napkins with baseball designs already on them from Amazon and the cake came from Costco. Still all in all a really fun set of decorations.
And here is a pic of the finished layout, complete with little boy!
Hope you enjoyed stopping by and I hope you will sign up to be a follower of my blog and facebook page. Those who follow my blog will receive a little something extra from me - files I've created for the Silhouette. I have a few that can't be found in the store that are original to me and I would love to share them with you.
